UTFR - Tire Temperature Sensor Mounts

As part of University of Toronto's Formula Racing team, I engineered tire temperature sensor mounts to be anchored on the suspension assembly and will be used in testing on the front and rear tires. I analyzed the placement and mounting of various designs to ensure that despite melted tire compound and the rotation of the front wheels due to steering, the sensors would remain fixed on the same area of the tires. This will ensure that the sensors gain accurate readings that will then be used to analyze the wear of the tire in addition to the load placed on each tire.
